Solstice is a tenor steel pan solo that is part of a collection of miniatures for one to two instruments. This is the seventh miniature in the collection. The title is inspired by the longest and shortest days of the year and explores the cyclical nature of time and shifting energies of the seasons through reflection, stillness, and motion.
