“Invitation to Be” features eight new and commissioned works for percussion. This album is the final product of my DMA dissertation for the University of Iowa School of Music, completed Spring 2025. The title of the album serves as an invitation for collaboration and is a gentle reminder to find meaning within dissonance and do the things that bring you joy.
